Teaser Trailer Filming Equipment

Canon E0S7 D- video camera

The simplicity of this camera made using it very easy, it’s easy to carry and easy to film and take pictures. However the skills needed to create pieces where the filming would be quality were the main struggles but due to general knowledge of how to use this camera we were able to get on with it as a group. Zooming in was quite a hard task to accomplish with this camera whilst keeping focus.

Samsung t10bp

This was a very small video recorder which made life easy as it enabled our group to shoot from different angles and it also meant it was flexible to do certain camera tricks. The lightness of it made it comfortable to film with. This camera would be recommended for a trailer because its easy to focus.

Tripod vinten pro 5

This tripod was an easy way of keeping the two cameras still. It was also easy to set up so there was never a problem. It was safe to use and this was a positive, however at times it felt as if it needed to be a bit higher to that we could get better angled shots and if we had to film a high angled shot it became complex because we wouldn’t want to damage the tripod by using it.

LED lights

Led lights were very useful when trying to make objects look clearer on screen. The Led light wasn’t hard to position as well and since is shone so brightly it covered a lot of space which is important when trying to get perfect lighting. Another good point would be the fact it meant we didn’t have to waste time carrying smaller lights around. However it was quite hot which could have been a safety hazard since the design of the light was meant to be at head height for some people.
